Farming EXP and Resources Empty Farming EXP and Resources

Just wanna ask few questions, a total newbie here Embarassed
Is it worth it to spend hours on gathering resources / farming exp on resource pool & military academy?

I normally leave myself farming experience for my heroes when I go offline, just to keep them busy for a couple hours, while I sleep.

I like leaving my heroes doing something when I log too - better than sitting around doing nothing Wink Also during the day if I'm away for a couple hours the resource pool seems to really help. Just don't bother during play time Wink
